As I sit in hell it's still ripe in my mind like the plumpest apple on the tree
That hallow tipped lie you told me
"We're going to make it far."
While we were still in the driveway sitting in my car
But only I ended up on the road wishing for you upon a star
Occasionally I'd find you hitchhiking and pick you back up
Only for you to soon sneak into another man's truck
Then, again, you'd leave me feeling weightless
Pacing
My mind racing
Your memory's not erasing
There's only one way to face it
I see my salvation in this shell casing
This is a pain the most skilled anesthesiologist couldn't ease
So my cardiologist became Dr. Eternal Damnation
thats really beautifully written!
